Hot House
What
is Hot House ?
Hot House is Landmark's retail programme designed to regenerate the Independent Retail Sector.
Supported by over 40 Suppliers and endorsed by the Landmark Membership, Hot House is a professional store redevelopment programme offering Retailers impartial advice on store re-fits, range rationalisation, layout, merchandising, pricing and technology.
A dedicated team works with the Wholesalers, Suppliers and Retailers to deliver the Hot House principles. Currently there are over 1300 Hot House conversions completed with 2500 scheduled to be completed by April 2010.
In April 2006 Landmark launched Lifestyle Direct as an addition to the Hot House programme. Click here for more information.
Landmark Wholesale has also launched a healthy initiative called 5-a-Day across its Hot House stores. Click here for more information.
Hot House Promotions
In August 2006, a four-week promotion was launched exclusive to Hot House Retailers.
The promotions are targeted across products that appear on the core range recommended on the Hot House planograms and will feature between six and eight key lines. The idea is to give Hot House Retailers additional promotional activity as a tool to develop incremental sales and be able to compete with the Multiples and Symbol offerings.
Special Point of Sale material has been produced to accompany the promotion, including window posters and shelf talkers.
